Located on the north end of Lake Sammamish, about 15 to 20 miles east of Seattle, you'll find the beautiful town of Redmond--the Home of Microsoft Corporation.
Many of the quiet neighborhoods in the area sit on forested hills enjoying lake and mountain views. Housing options are diverse and new construction is common.
Due to the presence of such a software giant, Redmond has evolved into a thriving center of business and community life. Home to several nationally & internationally recognized companies, including, Nintendo, Genie Industries, and Cingular Wireless.
Redmond has become one of the largest employment centers on the Eastside of Seattle and enjoys a healthy economic base and attracts workers from all around the Greater Seattle area.

Population of Redmond is approximately 46,000, and is the home of over 72,000 jobs. Each of these statistics has the expectation of growing approximately 40% and 30% respectively, in the next two decades.
Redmond has an enormous employment base, centered primarily on computer/software technology. Over 40% of Redmond's residents are in the fields of finance, insurance, real estate, and service sector, to name a few. Retail market has also exploded with almost 8,000 retail jobs since 1999.
Redmond is surrounded by 34 parks--largest of them all is Marymoor Park --totaling over 1,350 acres, and 25 miles of biking/hiking trails. These trails, the Velodrome at Marymoor Park, and the annual Derby Days draw bicyclists from all over, earning Redmond the title, "Bicycle Capital of the Northwest." Cultural attractions include the Redwood Theatre, Eastside Symphony and Second Story Repertory Theater, as well as a summer concert and winter performing arts series.
Redmond residents enjoy Lake Sammamish and its waterfront
parks. If you enjoy snow skiing in the Cascades, you'll find it only an hour drive east of Redmond.
Two of Redmond's many communities include the Union Hill and Redmond Ridge, located east of Lake Sammamish.
Union Hill offers hundreds of homes on acreage, and Redmond Ridge offers hundreds of new homes near the new Trilogy golf course.
